Crystal Palace Local

As part of The Bigger Picture Gallery Summer Exhibition 2010, Mike Conrad is exhibiting a couple of his paintings of Crystal Palace Park.

Mike has lived all his life in Norwood and enjoys painting local subjects such as All Saints Church and the Crystal Palace Park. His recent exhibition at the Kirkdale Book Shop (a very fine bookshop celebrating 30 years in business) was very successful, resulting in the sale of six paintings. The two paintings on view at The Bigger Picture Gallery are of the Crystal Palace Terrace and one of a view of the transmitter from within the park.

Mike has produced a considerable number of works of Crystal Palace and Norwood over the years in a variety of media (watercolour, acryclic, pencil/ink and pastels).
