Local author and illustrator team Jim Helmore and Karen Wall are celebrating the release of the third story in the Stripy Horse series of picture books.
‘Hold on Tight, Stripy Horse!’ (Egmont Press) was created and illustrated at Karen’s studio in the heart of Crystal Palace and sees stripy horse and the gang return in a high flying tale of stormy magic and mayhem. Can stripy horse put a stop to the wind and rain before his friends are washed away? It’s a race against time, but with the help of a flamingo shaped umbrella and a squawking weathervane parrot he just might do it!
