Sonny the Sea Tractor Hits Town

My name is Loretta D’Souza and I live in the area and I have recently published the book, Sonny the Sea Tractor aimed at 3-7 year olds. Netty and Harry are playing hide and seek on Koob beach, but time flies by when Netty accidentally gets stuck in the castle and there is no one to help her out! Luckily the naughty seagulls have been watching the children and eventually they call Sonny the Sea Tractor and Scampi to their rescue. The story teaches the children the dangers of playing on the beach when the tide is high.

The idea for my story originated from my visit to South Devon where the original sea tractor lives. The unusual vehicle captivated me and my creative ideas began to flow.

I have always had a passion to write for children as I still see myself as a child. I love to think of new exciting ways to entertain their minds. As a debut children’s author, I am hoping to bring fun and laughter in my stories and am planning on hosting creative writing workshops to children in the area.

Fantastic book, Sonny the Sea Tractor is the new Thomas the Tank Engine. Kids of all ages (even big ones) will love it!! It even features a character who shares his name with a famous, Hollywood action hero! See if anyone else notices who it is. Eleven out of ten!!!
