Crystal Palace's best kept secret - but Lonely Planet found us!
If you're exploring the nooks and crannies in and around the Crystal Palace Triangle area then have a wander down Haynes Lane - which is opposite Foresters Hall on Westow Street. Halfway down on the left hand side you will find two entrances to Haynes Lane Market. The first - which looks like a small alleyway - will lead you into the top floor of the market. Just after that are two big gates which take you into the yard and the market's lower entrance. In this Aladdin's Cave of a place you will find furniture, retro/designer, military, paintings and prints, kitchenalia, hats and shoes, collectables, vintage clothing, jewellery, books, records, CDs, toys, china, glass...and much, much more.
Lonely Planet highlighted Haynes Lane Market when it put Crystal Palace in its 2010 Locations Top Ten on IPad. Shiny TV paid a visit in October 2007 which you will find on YouTube. Opening days and times are: Tuesdays 11 am to 5pm; Fridays 11 am to 5pm; Saturdays 11pm to 6pm; Sundays 11 am to 5pm.

You get great bargains there & the amount of music on sale there is just magic.
Paul who runs Hot Rock Vinyl
on the ground floor has an amazing collection of vinyl records for sale & always gives discount even when you don't ask for it, he's one of the two original traders who's been trading there since the market opened 15 years ago.
