Saturday Studio
Saturday Studio is a great start up in the heart of the Crystal Palace Triangle. It is hosted at The Studio in Palace just 2 doors down from the Haynes Lane Market entrance. It is open to anyone who wants to come along for a fun photographic portrait experience where self expression is encouraged.
Saturday Studio runs on the second last Saturday of every month and it is free to come and have your portrait taken. Prints are uploaded to the blog a few days later and are available for purchase. The aim of Saturday Studio is to always be spontaneous and creative with a different approach to portraiture at each studio event.

My husband and I went along to Saturday Studio to get some pictures taken when I was 8 months pregnant. We were surprised that we had a lot of fun during the session. Corin (the photographer) put us at ease immediately and was friendly with her advice on how we should stand etc to get the best shots. We had a good laugh and felt very relaxed throughout which is saying something as for some of the pics I was in my underwear!
We got some beautiful, touching pictures and some excellent ones of us just mucking around as a couple (a nice reminder we once did that now we have a newborn!) and we'll definitely be back for our first family portrait.
It's such a good deal and really good fun - I'd recommend it to anyone.

I went along to the first Saturday Studio last year and had so much fun! Corin is an excellent photographer - fun, professional and down to earth at the same time, making you feel very comfortable being in front of a camera. I don't generally like having my photo taken but really enjoyed my photo session and got some great pics out of it. I would highly recommend Corin at the Saturday Studio - even to the most camera-shy!

We went up with our two delightful but not necessarily co-operative children (aged 2 and 4 months) and Corin was great. Somehow (patience, stamina, general skill) she managed to get some great photos of us which was a real feat as my daughter was in a 'no' mood! It's definitely worth going along - I even managed to look pretty reasonable on about 3 hours sleep!

Corin is a great photographer & knows what she wants from you, really nice girl to work with & so easy going.
I really enjoyed it there on my first ever photo shoot, lets hope I become a famous model lol!
So get yourself down Haynes lane for the next Saturday Studio you wont be disappointed.

I visited the Saturday Studio at the end of January and can totally recommend it. I was a bit hesitant about 'posing' for the few few shots, but Corin is really great at getting you to relax in front of the camera. Ended up having a complete ball and got some some great pics into the bargain!
