I would like to make a case for the ridiculously fast traffic around the triangle, well not a case for! that would be daft, but a case against it. I am a father of 2 and on many occasions find me and my family dodging or hot footing it across the road to avoid being hit by a speeding car, or even in one case, a bus, doing at least 60 mph along Church Road.
How can we slow these vehicles down before someone gets killed. I have thought about getting those 'reduce your speed' signs and sticking them up around the Palace, especially like I say Church Rd but it should not really be up to me to do this and not too sure if it would help.
Here's an innovative way to slow speeding traffic down: put life-sized cardboard cutouts of your own kids by the side of the road. Sounds crazy, but it worked in Ohio, where the man who came up with the idea is now selling them for 60 bucks a pop.

I need to make sure I am not just having a rant but the speeding cars around the Palace, in my opinion are caused by the 'One Way System' sure I know it's here to stay, but why can't we use technology to calm the traffic.
I have started a Poll here on the Crystal palace Local. Cast your vote when you have a moment and I'll pass it on to the Council in due course.
If you agree, let's work together on this before it's too late.
In the meantime, here is a clip from days gone by, actually racing in the park, nothing changes.

I've lived here for 6 years and I never knew that they were still racing cars here as recently as 1964.
Thanks for posting it!
