With rising fuel prices playing on my mind, I can't help but wonder what the way forward is?
Well, if you are luck enough to have off-street parking, one answer is electric cars are cheap to run (espically if you sign up for one of those electricity deals where the power is cheap at night).
The first car dealership in the area to start to supply these is Nissan in Penge, who do a proper looking car called the "Leaf".
The car has been getting rave reviews and won 2011 European Car of the Year.
As well as selling the car the garage offers free fast charging that will take a car to full in minutes.
I for one, can't wait to see one of these whizzing around the streets of Crystal Palace.
