I would like to see a forum, like the virtual norwood one.

Is this possible?

We don't really want to add a forum as VN does it well quite well, this site has the ability to leave feedback and comments on articles and listings but once you get into the forum thing it takes a lot of moderation to stop the porn misters taking over. We only manage this in a our spare time so need to keep it under control and full of fast turn around and up-to-date articles.

Thanks for the feedback.

when clicking on my events edit button, it instead takes you to a screen to create a new event

Thanks for that BA, we will look into this and add to the next set of updates. Darn these 0s and 1s!

Call me a cheapskate if you will, but under the details about places, could there be a check-box about whether they offer free wifi

Yes that would be nice to see but the directory listings are managed by the owners of the businesses. They're free to add details of their facilities on there.

But for your info: Wetherspoons runs free WiFi access as does the 'Living Water Satisfies' cafe. I believe that Patrick's bar is also about to offer free Wi-Fi when I spoke to him the other night.

All power to the cheap skates!

It would be nice if there was a simple way to turn your event into an article.
Retyping information in two places could put people off

This would definitely be a nice feature but it'll have to be a cut and paste job for the time being im afraid.

You only need to add your event in one place for it to appear on the front page and the all events and go out in the 'Monday Mailout', but you do need to create a venue, if it's not on the list. So appreciate the feedback.

We are just working on a calendar that shows the catagories plus an image of the event, this should make it look and work better. Watch this space.
